My journey to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor has been anything but conventional. Throughout my career, I’ve embraced a diverse array of roles—from customer service and environmental advocacy to experiential education and even bread baking. Each experience has enriched my understanding of people and deepened my passion for helping others realize their full potential.

I spent a decade as a high school counselor in Idaho and Oregon, guiding students through their academic and personal goals, and supporting their social and emotional development. My work extended beyond school counseling; I also provided psychosocial rehabilitation and life coaching for teenage girls, addressing issues like depression, anxiety, and trauma. While my primary focus has been on adolescents, I find great joy in working with adults, offering support and guidance as they navigate their own journeys.

What fuels me is the opportunity to foster supportive, nurturing communities and to form deep, meaningful connections. I believe in the power of humor in therapy and approach each session with compassion and a down-to-earth perspective. As a mother myself, I have a special interest in supporting first-time parents through the perinatal period, and I’m proud to serve on the Board for Postpartum Support International, Idaho Chapter.

Outside of counseling and caretaking, I’m an outdoor enthusiast, finding rejuvenation and joy in running, hiking, SUPing, mountain biking, snowboarding, and chasing after my energetic boys. When I’m not exploring Idaho's outdoors, working, or playing with my family and friends, you can find me reading, gardening, or cooking up something delicious.
